Match the diameter (e.g. Ø49mm) on your lens to the filter size. This is different to focal length.

Align the filter with the lens and thread by rotating clockwise. Avoid overtightening.
I just tried these filters and for now I haven't used them to take really nice photos, but the tests I've done with the filters are very satisfying. Can't wait to try outdoor.
