The number next to the Ø symbol marks the diameter of your lens. It’s measured in millimetres i.e. “58mm.” Not to be confused with lens focal length which is also measured in millimetres i.e. “18-55mm.”

Make sure your lens is clean before using your magnetic lens caps to safely store your magnetic lens filters. Then line up the lens cap with the filter and the magnets will click together.
