Set mode to Manual (M) or Aperture Priority (A). On DSLRs, enter focal length and max aperture in Non CPU lens data settings. Set lens to Manual Focus (MF) if there's an AF/MF switch.

Align the lens to the adapter, and rotate clockwise until locked.

Attach the adapter to your camera as you would a lens, rotating it counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.
