What is a lens mount adapter?
A lens adapter allows you to attach a different brand of lens to your camera body, letting you use an otherwise incompatible lens with your camera.
How do I find the right lens adapter for my lens and camera?
Find your lens mount and your camera mount.
The easiest way to find and confirm your lens mount is to know the mount of the camera it was used on originally. A quick internet search of the camera model followed by lens mount is a sure way to confirm what lens mount you need. For example if you have an old Nikon lens and you know it was used on a Nikon FM2, you can easily find that the lens has a Nikon F-mount. This is particularly useful for lenses that are made for different mounts i.e Sigma and Tamron bring out the same lens with different mounts including EF, F, E so knowing the camera the lens was used on is a good shortcut.
If you have an old second hand lens and you are unsure of the camera it was made for, take all the known details of the lens and search the web.

When should I use a lens mount adapter?

Because you need to use your camera in full manual mode, you may need to familiarise yourself with this before shooting. You’ll soon work out which lenses you enjoy using with your camera. Analogue lenses can provide professional quality glass at a fraction of the cost of modern lenses so lens adapters can help you shoot with better lenses for less.
Can I change my aperture when using this lens mount adapter?
Only if your lens has a manual aperture control ring.
If you use a lens with electronic aperture and no manual control ring, because this lens mount adapter is fully manual, your aperture would remain at its maximum aperture (lowest f-stop).

As this was really a great support, I made a mistake initially by ordering M mount (leica) to FuijX but needed M42 to FuijX. I believe I had to redo something in the order process which made me in my hurry of the redoing selected M mount to Fuij instead of M42 a honest yet silly mistake.
It resulted in me only after purchase noticing that I ordered the wrong product.
So I contacted the support team via chat (European shop!) and received support almost immediately.
The support representative resolved the issue smoothly and fast, by canceling my order and refunding my payment. I received the refund within minutes on my paypal account which is really awesome!
I then right away reordered, and this time correctly, less than a week after, I did receive the M42 to Fuijfilm X mount adapter! The delivery was faster than expected and well done as the package for shipp as well as the product packaged looked sturdy and even good looking, the product itself works amazingly well with both the classic lenses I have and the Fuijfilm X-T30 II.
The mount adapter is made of good material it looks and feel solid and strong.
Con: the mount adapter is little on the heavy side and rather thick.
I do own a M42 to Canon EF mount (from another provider) which is flat, basically just a ring, the URTH mount adapter(s) are little thicker than a pancake lens. This isn't an issue to me, however it may effect your experience…
sturdy good quality perfect fit
Bought it to use my vintage Jena lenses on my Fuji X-E3. it works great and love how my camera feels like my vintage film cameras with the completely manual lens.
